A:Answer15 minutes for rinse only
1 hour for Express wash
3 hours for the longest wash
2+ hours for the "normal" wash
Oddly, the Express wash uses more energy than the Normal wash
If you are interested in how Express cleans, I'd say it's comparable to Normal -- but again you pay more for the shorter cycle. Mostly we use Normal or Pro wash -- Pro figures out how long to run based on how dirty the dishes are. Typically it takes two and a half hours. But, the dishes ARE 99.9% DRY.
A:AnswerThat’s kind of the trouble with reviews. People are always pointing out the negative. If you don’t like the third shelf buy a dishwasher without one. I love it. I would not want to take it out. Plus the middle rack goes up and down so you can lower it to have more room.
A:AnswerNo, it doesn't have the half load option, but it has something much better: ProWash - Soil Sense. It auto detects the load size, soil amount and uses energy and water proportionally.
Very economic. We don't worry about how many things we put inside
A:Answer5506, on some models it is also normal to hear a humming noise after the cycle is complete. Some models are equipped with a fan, which will run for approximately 50 minutes after the "Clean" light has come on. This gives additional air movement to dry dishes, and remove heat. A:AnswerYes, I barely hear it running. I wasn't quite sure what the difference in decibels would really translate too, but the Bosch was very noisy from the first time I ran it. I wondered if there was something wrong with that unit because it was rated so high for noise. The Kitchen Aid is so quiet you have to look at the indicator light to see if it's still going. Hope that helps!

A:AnswerHello Dijeff! Per the Use and Care Guide: Within 4 seconds of pressing Start/Resume, you must firmly push the door closed. If the door is not closed within 4 seconds, the Start/Resume LED will flash
and the cycle will not start.
A:AnswerI have run a total of 4 loads so far. I typically rinse dishes regardless of the machine or cycle it runs. It will keep the crud out of your drain area in the machine and help keep your drainage pipe clearer longer. I will say, EVERYTHING comes out perfectly cleaned AND dry! Also, make sure to look at suggestions on properly loading your dishes. Very good tips. Hope this helps!
A:AnswerMuch longer than my old one, but it has express wash if I'm in a hurry. But, I can carry on a conversation while it washes, something that was annoyingly difficult with my old one.
