“Does the door lock when in operation to prevent small children from opening the door while it's running?”

• No, there is no way to lock the door. It stops running when the door is opened. After opening the door, you have to click on resume to get it to restart and finish the cycle. I do like this dishwasher. It is very quiet when running. Hope this helps.
