“When the dishwasher completes cleaning/drying, display shows "clean" - but sounds like something is still running. Shouldn't the dishwasher shut off automatically? Also, when I empty it, I have to open the door twice for "clean" to go away”

doglover, we would recommend you contacting KitcheAid's call center for troubleshooting at 800-253-1301. The hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8am-8pm and Saturday 8am-4pm eastern Standard Time.
