• There are buttons to push that move the rack up or down to fit bigger bottles on the top rack.

• I'm not sure what you mean by "adjusted Itself" but it is easily adjusted, manually.

• The tines do not adjust. The 3rd rack can come completely out and the middle rack is adjustable allowing extra room for taller objects.

• The upper rack can’t be adjusted, my only complaint but it hasn’t been a problem. Also, it can be removed easily for extra large items on first shelf.

• Yes, it is adjustable up and down for taller items. The tines can be laid down in the rack.
