Please describe how this unit vents. null

I have mine vented through the countertop next to the kitchen faucet so that it drains into the sink if needed

Hello CAryMom! This model does not have an outside vent. This Dishwasher dries via a phenomenon called condensate dry. No dishwasher actually requires a vent. BUT depending on the tub and other technology designed on the unit, some dishwashers have been designed with vents to ENHANCE the drying performance.
