“Is there a door-release button in the door handle? If not, how do you latch / release the door?”

• Hello! There is no latch release. You would just pull the door open with the handle. The Dishwasher will not start without the dishwasher being fully closed. Thank you for your inquiry about our KitchenAid® appliances.
