Q: QuestionDoes this unit have a self cleaning filter? My 6 year old Thermador has an issue with odor after use in one day. I clean the maual filter often and use a DW cleaning product. The odor comes back one day after use. How does this DW manage odors?

• A:Answer Yes, it has a self cleaning filter. However like all dishwashers, you should run periodic (3-4 times a year) cleaning cycles with a dishwasher cleaner or vinegar to remove from and hard water buildup on.
