I have a water softening system for my entire home, so all water coming through is softened. Growing up in my state hardwater was always causing rust or shortened lifespan of appliances. In my opinion having a water softening system would be a HUGE benefit if you want LESS or No calcification on your dishes, in your water lines, and appliances.
