QuestionThe kit to purchase for installation comes with electrical wire and a water line and fittings. What about the drain hoses? My old dishwasher has 1 drain hose going up to an aerator and then another drain hose going from aerator to garbage disposal.

QuestionDoes this dishwasher have a leak sensor? If so, does it automatically shut off if a leak is detected?

- Answer We just bought this model dishwasher and it does indeed have a leak detector which shuts it off and sounds an alarm. There's a white plastic panel in front near the floor that has a Styrofoam float. If activated, it trips a switch that shuts the unit off and sounds a beeping and light flashing alarm.
