Unfortunately the ice maker problem is well known. And, the lemon clause in the Geek service contract covers it but excludes ice maker problems from Lemon rules for replacement as opposed to other issues, such as the electronic control panel on the meat drawer. It will fail when water gets into it from the dispenser directly above it and the Geek squad contract does include that in the lemon rule and thank goodness they just replaced our 4 year old fridge due to that failure, but not the three ice maker repairs. My advice is to request that they replace the entire ice maker and not patch it for repair.
