“I have read several reviews w/complaints about the ice maker, ice melts and sticks together, frost on the interior of the fridge, and lots of moisture inside and under the drawers. They had to make several repair calls. Has this issue been addressed?”

I've had more problems with this expensive fridge than ANY I've owned previously. Yes there are water and frost issues. Every few months I have to call for a repair to get the ice and water out from under my crisper drawers as everytime I open them it pushes water out and all over my floor. I actually just got off the phone with Best Buy and Whirlpool and nobody can help me despite the fact that it's 1.5 years old and has already been serviced twice and needs serviced again now.

Constant and continuous issue we just deal with it now as I dont have time off to wait a full day for some one to service my ice maker every few months. …as they have replaced everything possible regarding ice machine And still melts, leaks everywhere inside unit and is literally the most expensive piece of crap we own! This isnt YOUR PARENTS kitchen aid! Dont waste money. I will NEVER BUY KITCHEN AID AGAIN and definitely tell friends to not buy! We bought a bundle package stove, fridge, dishwasher and ever single one has had issues! Absolutely unacceptable and literally customer service though sends people still does not address the manufacturer issues on every appliance we have that all have repeat issues? We saved forever to buy the bundle upper end KA and it was a huge regret buying kitchen aid! My repair guy literally told me i would of been better off buying the cheap amana for all the money we have spent the past 4 years! Wow that says it all! Dont buy KA and yes I too bought my bundle from best buy -Kitchen Aid - may 2018 crazy you all still sale this model! Shame on u

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We've owned the Kitchenaid refrigerator/freezer for a little over a month now, and we have been quite pleased with it. The ice maker is a little noisy at times, but we haven't had any problems with moisture inside or under the drawers, nor have we had any frost develop in the refrigerator portion. We haven't incurred any problems that required a service call. When we built our home, almost twenty years ago, we chose Kitchenaid for all of our appliance needs, and that was for two complete kitchens. Our dishwasher was replaced last year, and just last month, the refrigerator. Six other Kitchenaid appliances are still running strong. I think that speaks pretty well of the Kitchenaid brand.
