• The installation manual gives the power requirements as 30 Amps at 240 V for this model. The answers citing 40 amps are incorrect. And idea of changing a breaker from 30 A to 40 A may result in a code violation depending on the wire gauge that was pulled for the circuit. Look it up if you doubt me.

• Most requirements are overrated any way. If you need a 40 amp breaker just have the 30 replaced.
