- Answer I am pressing the two items simultaneously for 3 seconds (it counts down the three seconds for me), but the audio still doesn't alert me for when the door is open. How long does the door have to be open for the alert to sound?

- Answer No, the doors do not self-close. My though is they do not, because the seals are so tight. The refrigerator keeps cold stuff cold and frozen stuff like a rock and does not constantly run.

QuestionAnyone having issues with the ice maker? Mine works great most of the time and sometimes overfills and starts dripping water into the ice maker section but freezes water on the outside of the container? Does it at least once per week not sure why?

- Answer It is not too small, but I like to put more ice in a bowl in the freezer to have extra ice on hand if I ever need it for the ice chest. It takes about 12-24 hours to fill the bucket to capacity.
