- Answer Hi vwlady, We recommend pulsing the ice several times using the chop button prior to selecting the puree button. It is very capable of making smoothies.

- Answer The 3.5 Cup Mini Food Chopper does not have a switch for the chop and puree. You have to hold the button for it to function.

QuestionJust removed chopper from package and unable to remove the top. I see there may be a clear plastic tape around the edge, is thiss removerable and would that be the reason i can not open the chopper.

QuestionHow loud is it? I live in an apartment and the full size food processors are way too loud to avoid noise complaints from the neighbors. i have to use my ninja blender sparingly because it is so loud.

- Answer It is not as noisy as a full size food processor. I use it all the time but I live in a private residence. I'm sure a tv would be a lot louder!!
