- Answer Yes, an overhead draft will work just fine with this stovetop. Simply have your electrician cap off the supply line for the overhead draft. Which I'm certain he or she will know to do anyway.

QuestionThe type of downdraft connection - round or rectangular?I have a JennAire electric cooktop with the center downdraft vent that connects to a circular vent pipe for the exhaust. Will this Kitchen Aid model fit into the circular vent pipe or will I need to hire someone to custom fit the unit into the exhaust pipe?

- Answer If you have a round exhaust vent, it will require an adapter. Get a professional installer.
