“My cooktop seems to cook too hot. For instance, simmer is way too hot and causes burning on bottom of pot. I have natural gas. I have tried all of burners too. Anyone have a solution or similar problem ?”

Are you using the downdraft when you cook? Putting the fan on always cools the flame. Also , i think you can adjust the size of the flames on the burner with a screwdriver. Call KitchenAid

I move those pots slightly away from center of flame to resolve that problem. I don’t appear to have as much a problem with enameled cast iron pots. Turning on exhaust fan may also help.
