“Are the burners removable to clean and also are they brass or aluminum?”

The Specs clearly state they ARE removable and made out of cast iron.

Please try again later.I am enjoying my new Kitchenaid cooktop with a down draft, however, the installation took an extra 4 weeks after the appliance was delivered and the installation company gave me a window of 6 hours and came 90 minutes after the time allotted. No calls and no apologies. As to the question, the removable burner caps are cast iron and the inner parts are aluminum and also removable. I had the same on my old cooktop and did not experience any problems.
