- Answer I wouldn't unless you want to permanently discolor or possibly warp the bowl. The stainless is thin and not meant to be heated over a stove.

- Answer It is stainless which means it is silver in color. It doesn't come in other colors. Some of the glass bowls do. Get on KA's website to see what bowls they have.
