• The installation manual includes instructions for hard-wiring a 3-wire cord, or swapping a 3-prong pigtail cord for the preinstalled 4-prong cord. You will also need a ground strap (not included).

• I was told that changing the plug (an easy fix) would negate the warranty. We had an electrician change our outlet to 4 prong. Had to do that with a new dryer also. Was told that was a new law.
