“In the photo there is something on top of the right grates...is that a griddle and is it stuck to the grates or can the griddle be removed? when the griddle is removed, are all the grates still there?”

There's an oval burner beneath the griddle. Not big enough for a 10" tortilla, but big enough to flat top a couple of burgers at one time or to make grilled cheese on. No need to remove grates when using the griddle - just take off the griddle.

The stove comes with a griddle. It can be placed on top of the cooking grates and it is not necessary to remove the grate to use the griddle

Yes is a griddle you can remove it and all the grates are still there I only take mine out when I am going to use it

Yes it is the griddle. It can be removed and placed anywhere and all grating remains.

Yes the griddle is included with the Range. In addition, the griddle can be removed and placed anywhere on the grates.
