• That seems too long! My lower oven took just about 8 mins to reach 400 on bake mode & about 6 mins on convection mode. Call KitchenAid service dept.

• Hello Frenchy, A range or wall oven with all racks in the oven cavity will preheat to 350°F in 12-15 minutes (+/- 5 minutes). A preheat time of 12-15 minutes is normal. Hopefully this information is beneficial to you. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our KitchenAid appliances!
