• A:Answer Hi concerned2022, Proposition 65 was enacted in 1986 in the State of California. It requires an updated list once a year of potentially harmful materials. Whirlpool/KitchenAid meets or exceeds all standards for safe materials, but our products do have cords, which causes them to make the list. Any time you have a cord, there is the potential for it to come in contact with something hazardous.

• A:Answer Yes! It comes with a wisk, a bread hook and what I call a convenient meat mixer attachment. What is really cool about it is that the bowl stays stationary while the machine rotates and mixes all the ingredients thoroughly. It's not like Grandma's old mixer, it's so much better!
