No this does not have any setting for 1-10, it's a small push pulse grinder you can control the fineness of coffee powder by slowly pulsing the grinder.

The Kitchenaid grinder works great on coffee. However there are no predefined grinder settings. The longer you push down on the lid of the grinder, the finer the coffee grounds will be.

It does a great job grinding the coffee! There are no settings available with this model, which is fine for me. You just have to watch how long you let the coffee grind to determine how coarse or fine you want your coffee.

No settings, but it has measuring lines in cup for how mamy cups of coffee you are grinding. It is easy to see through the lid while you are grinding the fineness or coarseness of the ground beans.

No settings, your just have to gain a little experience to judge the right amount of grind time. It helps to do two or three pulse grinds in the middle of your grinding to prevent whole beans from not being ground. I had a burr grinder for years, but I actually prefer this machine.
