• You can use foil to line the baking pan to keep it clean but for air frying in the air fryer basket, foil will not let the air flow through to properly cook the food. I use foil in the baking tray but not on the bottom of the oven or in the air fryer basket. I love this appliance and having the convection function really kicks the performance up a notch.
