“I have read some poor reviews on this item. They were from 2017 and before. Is this unit an upgrade based upon the flaws found or is it the same.? Should I be concerned ? Thank you.”

Hi Bill, KitchenAid would like to assure you that the problems you read about are not common occurrences. Compared to the amount of people that purchase our products and use them without incident, the number that experience problems is very small. Despite the reviews that are out there, the vast majority of owner/users of our KitchenAid products have been experiencing the long-term durability we expect.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Many of the flaws are from improper care of the machine. Checking water level every time is a must and cleaning after every use. The machine cannot sit with the grounds stuck in it or frother not cleaned out and expect flawless performance.
