Klipsch offers both in ceiling (like these) and in wall options for most every series of architectural speaker they make. I cant think of a good reason to use an in ceiling in the wall or vice versa unless the space required something out of the norm.

Some other things to consider when buying in-ceiling speakers sound quality, the look of the grill smaller the holes the less visible the speaker is. good luck

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Speakers can be mounted virtually anywhere, however the 1650-C are designed for maximum performance in the ceilings. klipsch does make speakers of equivalent price and quality that is for the walls. Check out Klipsch 1650-W
