Are these speakers usb or ac powered? null

They are AC powered. They are very powerful and clear, no way a USB port could support the power needed to push these. I've researched speakers for months with intent of buying studio monitors but none of them could touch the complete package of this Klipsh Set. Even a $500 KRK set of studio monitors would need a subwoofer added to be this well rounded. Hope this helps.

Neither. It is DC powered from a small transformer. Standard non-grounded 2-prong. Subwoofer is powered, satellites plug into that. Great little system. Can’t turn it up too loud in my office, though.
