The sub is self-powered with a built-in amp, so as long as you connect it to a 'passive/non-powered subwoofer output' on your receiver, you should be good. But always look at the user manual of your receiver for specific instructions.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The subwoofer is completely independent of the system. Your receiver doesn't send any power to the subwoofer, just an audio signal. The subwoofer has its own amp and gain control. You can adjust the subwoofer level on the receiver settings, or there is a knob on the back of the subwoofer to adjust it yourself manually. This subwoofer is worth every penny. I bought two.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.IF your Denon Receiver has a standard RCA type subwoofer output this should work OK because the 300W is supplied internal to the Reference 10. Therefore no power except the low power high impedance signal is required from your receiver and the volume of the subwoofer is adjustable with knob on back of subwoofer. NOTE: if your AV Receiver has an automatic setup you just set the volume knob to about 50% on the Reference 10 before running the setup program and the bass level should be automatically matched to your other speakers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No.....volume knob, and freq. knob gives complete control
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't think it will be too much power, but even if it is, the subwoofer has a power dial in the back. You can always turn down the gain and thus lower the power of the bass.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the receiver only sends a signal, the built in amp on the sub takes care of the power, there should not be any issues at all, enjoy!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. These are self powered meaning they have an internal amplifier to power the sub. Your receiver just puts out a low level signal output to this amp/sub which has no bearing (power wise) on what your receiver puts out. Yes it will be fine
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The sub does all the powering. The receiver just sends the signal to the subwoofer. Will work just fine
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it would not be too much.. A subwoofer is just one more speaker. It is non directional as well, so you can put it behind a chair or couch and still benefit from its sound. You already have the center and side speakers, buy this one on black friday at 50% off and rock on!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
