• I would say yes. They have a switch to turn off the Dolby crossover intended to make the reflection work. In a "direct" situation with the switch in the surround mode, I imagine they will work great, especially to match other Klipsch. If you have other types of speakers consider the SVS too.

• I would say no, I have a vaulted ceiling and don’t get great Atmos effects.
