How much better these are than the Reference Series 8" Dual speakers? Someone else has answered that with the technical specs differences but can someone explain how much of a difference the user will be able to discern between them? Worth the cost? null

With a good receiver and Listening to music big difference if.. The sound is neutral, when Set at least 1 foot from wall, they get bass heavy when in corner/ too close to wall. If you are taking the time to set up somewhat properly. Have a decent receiver, or listen to vinyl definitely worth extra money. Rp 8000 a steal, kinda big, but so are the r 820f’s. If you want something close to the wall next to tv to make movies awesome, and you throw some tunes On your phone with Bluetooth, go for the dual 8s/r 820f. The extra Money spent will not be heard, with out proper set up. Hope this helps.
