The included ground is for use with older subwoofers typically .. with the shielded cable you shouldn't need to use the ground .. my cables are not grounded... . Running two of these subs from a denon x3700h..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have had mine running about a year and 1/2 without the grounding wire - have had no problems. In fact, I just bought another one of these subs. This is not a professional response, but I think you'd be ok. Mine is plugged directly into a wall socket but my other components (Yamaha receiver, etc.) go through a dedicated surge protector.
