- Answer Hey LL, from my knowledge, normally on the rear of your sub there should be an input for your front speakers and an output for your passive satellite, tower or bookshelf speaker but also note, with this speaker configuration you will need two passive subwoofers, one each for the left and right channel.

- Answer Absolutely. The Sony has 2 line level preamp outputs for subwoofers. Subwoffers require a line level signal from the receiver or PC. Refer to the attached image for the required cable (Male to Male RCA Jacks).

- Answer if your Yamaha has 1 sub output then connect to the left rca plug on the sub. it is marked (LFE).
