I have this on an Onkyo TX8260 receiver (which is 80 watts/channel, stereo). I am also driving Klipsch RP-8000F speakers with that. Klipsch speakers are, generally, pretty sensitive and don't need high power to drive them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm using the Denon AVRS750H Receiver which offers both Left and Right SW outputs. But the speaker will also work with a preamp/receiver that supports a single LFE output or Left and Right line level outputs. Your receiver's power doesn't matter because the Klipsch subwoofer has its own 400W power amp with gain control knob on the back. Any preamp/receiver should work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To use this sub you will need a “sub out” or “LFE our” line level outputs from either your receiver or pre-amp. It does NOT have the option to connect speaker wires directly - line level input only. Simple, but not very versatile. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should Work with any receiver. I am using a fairly new Yamaha.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Any receiver with signal out for sub. This is sell powered so a signal is all that is needed. Ensure settings on amp has sub as active. I currently have pioneer vsx 1100 line for this but it works with our 10 year old receivers by sony and kenwood as well.
