A:AnswerIf your reciever has rca ports just buy an rca cable and plug it into one of your rear speaker connections if you're not using it for a rear channel.
A:AnswerThis sub has the standard connections for most modern subwoofers designed for a 5.1 or 7.2 home theater systems. That means RCA Left and Right in connections with one designated for LFE if that is what the AV receiver has. There is no optical in. If I understand you right you are planning to use your LG as your audio out with no AV receiver. If your LG has LFE designated for a subwoofer that would be the way to go, but if it has RCA out that would work as long as you have RCA connections designated for your main speakers as well. It has a phase switch which I won't get into, and frequency and gain dials. Frequency controls the depth of sound that the main speakers will cede to the subwoofer and the gain dial is used to match the volume of the subwoofer to the main speakers for a better harmonic sound. It really comes down to how the audio out connections from the LG are set up if this is right for the 2.1 system you are looking for. If the LG has has LFE for subwoofers and RCA audio out for main speakers it will work.
A:AnswerHello! The subwoofer is 4 Ohms, but please note that this subwoofer only receives audio signal (not power) from your receiver. As such, it isn't necessary to consider the impedance (Ohms) of the subwoofer. This only applies to your passive speakers, which connect to the receiver via speaker wire (and receive both signal and power from the receiver). Thanks!
A:AnswerHello! Yes, this subwoofer is a good match for the Nines. To connect the subwoofer to your speakers, you'll only need a single mono RCA cable (one end connecting to your powered speakers' LFE SUB OUT connector and the other end plugging into the subwoofer's L/LFE input). Thanks!
A:AnswerThis subwoofer must connect (via RCA) to an amplifier, AV receiver or set of powered speakers which feature an RCA subwoofer output.

A:AnswerDo you know how to run the sound test, with the special mic that comes with, well jut connect you're rca jacks in there proper out puts on you're Denon, then plug the amps power cable in to the wall and start the sound test. Once it gets started the woofer is in the beginning, it will tell you how to adjust you woofer, my Denon is connected to my flat screen with an HDMI cable so I can see all this on my screen, big help. Kilipsch has a real great Customer support if you need them, Hey I call them and Denon when I need them, and That is what they want you to do.
A:AnswerThe point of having isolated Subs is having them anywhere in the room. Some people prefer them behind the couch or where the main user is sitting. Most new receivers have an option to tuning your surround system with a microphone where the main user sets which is you. Just make sure your RCA cables are long enough to either go through the ceiling and back around or to where in the room you want them to belong. I bought two of these Subs for one for downstairs and one in the main theater room. My receiver has a 2 zone system. These Subs were mostly designed for trance dubstep, classical music, and wicked home theater. one last note though make sure they have plenty of breathing room away from the wall
