These are the Klipsch reference line of speakers while the RP-140SA is the Klipsch premier line. These speakers have an aluminum tweeter, plastic tractrix horn and graphite woofers while the 140's have the titanium tweeter, a rubber tractrix horn and a cerametalic woofer. I had these speakers and had them as height speakers since I have vaulted ceilings and the reflection never worked but as height speakers the sounded great. I actually just swapped over to the RP-140SA's (being discontinued they are a good value now) and they hav a lot smoother sound to them.
