Yes. In the end, its just a speaker. In regards to Atmos vs non-atmos... the receiver does the work of distributing across channels. So if its non-atmos, its just a regular channel whichever channel you decide to connect it to (front, rear, height, side, etc)

I assume you want them for mounting on the wall so they aim down. Id say think of the angle they will provide, there may be better/cheaper options utilizing a mount/bracket. I have 2 sets of these and because of the shape of the room i think i need to either move or mount one on a bracket to get better angle.
