Can these be used with a Non Atmos Receiver? null

I would say yes. They are "just" speakers at the end of day, hooked up to whatever channel you want. I assume you want them for mounting on the wall so they aim down. Id say think of the angle they will provide, there may be better/cheaper options utilizing a mount/bracket. I have 2 sets of these and because of the shape of the room i think i need to either move or mount one on a bracket to get better angle.
