• Yes, mine turns on automatically. Not sure if it comes on when audio source is present or just when my TV gets turned on. I'm feeding it optical audio out from my TV.

• It turns on automatically with my television. Most newer televisions can be programmed to work with the Klipsh Reference Soundbar and Sub.

• It is auto-sensing, it turns on right away and turns itself off after a few minutes of inactivity.
