How far away will it pickup null

The distance at which this audio recording device will pick up clear audio totally depends how loud the noise you are trying to record is and where the recorder has been placed (i.e. is it attached to a chalkboard in a classroom or in a pocket?). 10 ft as a general rule of thumb I would say though, all other factors held constant.
