“Slide #7 of the pictoral description of this 5" Film & Slide Scanner says "Download directly to an SD card or directly to your computer." As per answers on the Best Buy site & others, people say that it DOES NOT allow for direct downloads. Which is true?”

Hello SunnyInKentucky! This unit saves to an internal SD card. Once scanned you can transfer the images to your computer with the USB Upload function.
