• Hello Tom! This unit will save color or negatives to an SD card. Once saved, you can transfer the files to your computer via the USB Upload function.

• Yes, the image on the slide will be copied onto the SD card as a jpeg file. Color images will be saved in color. Also, if you are saving an image from a color negative that image will be saved as a positive color picture (again, saved as a jpeg file on the SD card). You will see the image that will be saved on the scanner's screen before you save it.
