It is almost entirely made of metal. There are some plastic parts like on the legs to lock the extensions and at the connection to the tripod. But those are very sturdy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mostly metal with some plastic pieces as well. The legs themselves are sturdy metal with plastic locking pieces where they extend. Some of the pieces on the swivel mechanism are plastic as well. I use this with my Nikon DSLR and it supports it no problem though.
