• Yes, this camera can take pictures up to around 2 inches away from a subject when on Micro mode (easy to switch too on Micro Button). It auto focuses if you press half way down on Shutter Button on top of camera. Works good. Regular pictures not on micro mode are sharp from ~6-8 inches away from subject.
