A:AnswerKwikset Model: 99140-013 can be installed on the door and the door handing step can be programmed. This step will read the direction of the door.
A:AnswerKwikset Model: 99140-015 interior for a SmartCode is not designed for exterior use and should be under cover and needs to be protected from the elements. The exterior can be installed on an outside door but not be exposed to direct weather.
A:AnswerI understand that it is a stand alone product. I want all of the hardware on my door to match, in style, color and overall appearance. Again, is there a Kwikset door handle model that MATCHES this deadbolt?
A:AnswerYou'll have to ask ADT about this to be sure. There are both Zigbee and Zwave models of this lock, and you'll have to get the right one. Most of the compatible systems are listed on the box, but some require you to call the security company to "add" the lock to your system (or show you how). As for using this with your iPhone, there is NO APP just for this lock. The lock only works as part of a security system -- and so you will use the security App to control the lock. Note that with Time Warner Intelligent Home you cannot set the codes for the lock using the app. You can open and close it... and you can tell when someone else opens or closes it... but you cannot set or erase codes except by physically taking the cover off the lock and programming the lock itself.
A:AnswerYes, within the web version of the XFINITY Home app (don't think you can do it through mobile device) -- you go to:
Automation > Create a Rule > Security System > To Disarm > When [lock name] is unlocked > [always] or [designate between time of day/sunset/sunrise]
A:AnswerThe lock will work on Android or an Apple phone as long as you have the App for whatever system you have installed in your home . Typically this would be the Xfinity Home App or the Vivant Sky App for example. You definitely want to decide beforehand about what you are trying to achieve as far as options and features and make sure you purchase compatible devices and system.
Decide what you want.

If you just looking for a wireless lock there are Bluetooth and WiFi locks that are cheaper and will work standalone. This lock is intended to be part of a total (or as much so) home system
