• Yes you can. There is a separate packet with instructions to insert a special lock device which allows you to re-key the door lock. The directions are quite specific and I would recommend calling Kwikset Customer support if you do not have the special lock device and instructions.

• You can key it to other Kwikset keys that you have. It comes with everything you need to make that work.

• Kwikset SmartCode Z-Wave Deadbolt Lock comes with the SmartKey technology that allows the product to be re-keyed at the consumer level by following the re-keying instructions but is not compatible with other brands.
