7 or 8 is probably the perfect age range. It will take adult help to initially assemble it, but after being shown how to use it, they should be fine.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on the maturity level, if they use it as normal young kids do (my 9 year old plays with it very actively) it will hold up, but if they are in destructo mode and are trying to destroy it... It is cardboard after all.
