• yes it does required a switch, it doesn't come with the switch.

• Yea you need the Switch too. It goes in the VR goggle part.

• It requires a Switch, sold separately. Each kit includes a game card that shows you the instructions, step by step. And I think there are games to play once the parts are assembled, but we have not made it that far yet (working with young boys).
