I was going to purchase LapLink PC Mover Ultimate but only have a CD slot on my old computer and not on the new one. Will it still be possible to transfer files? And is the cable needed included in the box? null

There is no CD in the box, you download the software on both PCs and use the product key in the box.  The box has cable and product key, no CD.

You do NOT need a CD/DVD drive as the software is downloaded from Laplink's website.

There is a version that when you order the physical box, a crossover cable is included. You can transfer using your home network instead of the cable.

Get an external CD drive. It runs off a USB or C cable, and theyre not very expensive, then you can install any programs you want.
