• It is a Ethernet connection on both ends.

• I have used two different copies of PC Mover. Both boxes contained an ethernet cable, and that is what I used to connect the old and new computers together. My experience with PC Mover: it does work and it helped me. But it is slow, does not transfer all apps, and can only be used once with two specific computers. If you want to use it again later with another computer, you have to buy a new copy or account number.
