• A:Answer I looked around and found sites list the W16900 at 2210 CFM. That would be on high speed. Another site listed the CFM for all three speeds. CFM: 1325/Low, 1840/Medium, 2210/High

• A:Answer Plastic. And beyond that it will rattle when starting it up. I don’t notice it once it is up to sapped but I have only used the lowest speed as anything above feels too fast, or in other words I don’t need or feel comfortable using them.

• A:Answer I’m ignorant on what is a casement window. I believe that it would not have a windowsill and in that case this will not work. The StormGaurd approach requires a windowsill.

• A:Answer Yes. The unit sits on the window sill and it is slid back into the screws which are mounted slightly higher. The unit then drops down a bit and the heads of the screws hold the fan in place, and can cause noise if not lined up correctly.

Q: QuestionHow wide is the fan without the extenders extended?

• A:Answer I have this installed so I can’t give accurate measurements. IF the extensions were to move entirely flat then it would be 26”. But I don’t believe that the mounts do not fully close. I am guessing that an opening less than 28” might be too small.
