They will get warm, but not hot if you use them a long time. As with any heater, o always unplug after use.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not noticed the plug being overly warm, maybe slighlty warm but I don't think it's anything to be concerned about. Most likely the higher you have the heater on and the longer you run it, it may warm up the plug. I believe there is a safety auto shut off if it was over heating.
